Sister Muriel was diagnosed with cancer, following a mild stroke at the end of July this year.

Sister Pam died suddenly on Sunday 11th September. Her Requiem will take place on Thursday 29th September at 12 noon.

We have had Sisters taking part in various celebrations recently for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s 90th birthday.

This year, the Sisters at the Priory resumed the tradition of a Claustral Week during Lent, where the timetable is slightly amended, and talks and discussions are lead by invited leaders.

First of all, our apologies for not having this post ready sooner. It was really quite the celebration at York Minster on Saturday 17th October.

We have been very busy over the last few weeks. Sisters came from Branch Houses for Chapter and Retreat, allowing for socialising with each other and a time of prayer.
